Tourism fund in the red
An increasingly anxious but divided Ouray City Council may soon pull funding for the Ouray Tourism Office if revenues don’t begin to catch up with expenses.
Through the end of July, the city’s tourism fund, which is subsidized by the city’s 3.5 percent lodging and occupancy tax, was $25,196 in the hole.
