Nine bidding for 3 council seats
Voters will have ample choice when it comes to filling three seats on the Ouray City Council this fall.
All nine people who took out nomination petitions returned them by Monday’s deadline, and all nine were certified for the ballot. Candidates had to collect signatures from at least 25 registered city voters to make it onto the ballot.
Mayor Pro Tem Glenn Boyd and retired engineer Greg Nelson will face off to replace Mayor Pam Larson, who isn’t seeking re-election.
