Stewart hired as new GMUG national forest supervisor
COLORADO
Chad Stewart, who has worked on public lands for 26 years in the West, has been named the new forest supervisor for the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests.
Stewart, who previously served as the deputy forest supervisor of this forest since May 2018, will assume the position on Sept. 9.
Previously, he served as the district ranger in Steamboat Springs and fire staff officer in the Lincoln National Forest.
