An article in the Aug. 15 edition of the Plaindealer stated the Western Colorado Community Foundation awards more than $3.4 million annually to nonprofits in communities on the Western Slope. The Ouray County Community Fund would like to clarify that its steering committee awards approximately $40,0000 to $45,000 annually, managed by the Western Colorado Community Foundation.
