Coloradoâs state flower is putting on a display this year with wildflowers in the high country. This week is expected to bring peak blooms to elevations around 10,000 feet. The season is a few weeks later than average, as high amounts of snowpack and cooler weather delayed the wildflower bloom at higher altitudes.
