Councilor seeks more trail restrooms
If Dawn Glanc has her way, hikers enjoying Mother Nature along the city’s Perimeter Trail will have more places to answer when nature calls.
The Ouray city councilor is pushing for the installation of more restrooms along the roughly 6-mile loop trail that rings the city.
For a trail that the Ouray Trail Group estimates is used by 50,000 people annually, she noted the only bathroom is at the Visitors Center, and that all-terrain vehicle users have nowhere to go. She said she would like to find...
