Ouray County residents who attended a town hall meeting on proposed wildfire mitigation rules were receptive to those regulations.

The meeting on Aug. 6 included a presentation on wildfire science and the regulations the commission has been working on for almost three years. The regulations are designed to mitigate the risks wildfires pose to homes across the county.
