The Ouray County undersheriff has been indicted by a grand jury on two counts alleging he committed two crimes – criminal attempt to commit inducement of child prostitution and child abuse.

Richard Herman, 48, was scheduled to be advised on those charges this week in Montrose District Court, but the court date was postponed for a month.
