Road tax survey mailed: Citizen opinion sought

With the deadline of July 26 to file a letter of intent for the 2019 ballot fast approaching, the Board of County Commissioners and county staff worked to finalize a survey to gauge citizen opinion about county road funding options at a work session July 10.

The survey should be in mailboxes by July 23 with instructions requesting its return by Aug. 15.

The letter of intent will be submitted before the surveys are returned and analyzed by county staff, but the letter is not required to be specific...
