Pool to close for meet

CITY OF OURAY

The Ouray Hot Springs will be hosting a statewide swim meet and will close to the public during the competition, Aug. 2-4.

This is the first time Ouray has hosted the Colorado Seasonal State Swim Meet, according to one of the organizers, Jackie Lauderdale. This year, the Ouray Screaming Eels and the hot springs pool have been chosen for the first time to host this event. The meet will take place each day from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., during which time the pool will be closed to the public. ...
