Music lovers will have a chance to hear the rare sounds of a guitjo in a performance from “new acoustic” musicians Joe Scott and Hannah Alkire of Acoustic Eidolon on Saturday.

Scott’s one-of-a-kind instrument, a type of six-string banjo with the neck of a guitar, combines with Alkire’s cello to produce a melodic sound with Celtic, Americana, World and Flamenco musical influences.
