Jeep tour offered to historic mines

OURAY COUNTY

The first of two historical Jeep tours on Red Mountain offered this summer through the Ouray Historical Society takes place on Friday.

The all-day tour, including transportation from the Ouray County Museum, offers participants an educational experience with guide Don Paulson, the author of “Mines, Miners and Much More: A Guide to Historic Mining in Colorado’s San Juan Triangle.”
