A 259-acre ranch near Ridgway is the new home of a shooting location for the world’s largest Christian TV network, which chose the location partially for its seclusion and the beauty of the San Juan Mountains. The purchase of the private ranch came only 15 months after a California jury awarded $2 million in damages to a granddaughter of the network’s founders, whom she accused of covering up a sexual assault scandal.
